Wellington District Junior Training Squads

At the start of the squash season the junior selectors will select the junior training squads for the year. The selectors for this season are Christine Barnett, Nick Mita, Mark Millar & Sue O'Connell. For more information about the squads and coaching in general please contact the Coach Development Manager, Nick Mita (coachdm@squashwellington.org.nz)

(1) Team Wellington Junior Squad is made up of Wellington's elite junior boys and girls who will attend training camps throughout the year. The top five boys and top five girls will then be selected to represent the district at the Junior Nationals in October.

(2) Development Squads are made up of up-and-coming juniors from the district who will hopefully move into Team Wellington. The squad is split into a number of zones in order for the training camps to be situated in close proximity to the players.
