If a team is not at the host venue and able to commence the first match by 7:15pm they may be defaulted by their opponents. The interclub subcommittee will uphold such defaults unless conditions outside the control of a team (ie bad weather, traffic accident, etc) prevented them from getting to the venue on time. Extra allowance should also be given to teams travelling long distances (ie: to/from the Wairarapa. If a team expects to be late they should make every effort to notify the opposing team captain by phoning the host Club.
